Ana Gonzales bio
Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson comes from a family with a strong musical background. As a child, she was inspired by the classical music of her parents, boleros as well as the traditional romantic, ranchero, as well as romantic ballads. Ana is an avid fan of tangos. She also loves operas and any form dramatic performance. She started singing and studying the piano with her mom, she began her more intensive training in singing at the age of 16 working with the famous Mexican tenor Flavio Becerra. At the School of Music of Guadalajara University as well as the School of Sacred Music of Toluca in Mexico furthered her education in music. As a student and young professional, she was a part of many chamber groups and opera choruses throughout Guadalajara as well as Mexico City. When she moved from Mexico to America at the age of 2000, she performed in the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus. The singer currently sings traditional Latin American songs at private concerts as a singer. Her love and passion in music, art and performing has her involved with a variety of local initiatives as a teacher and performer. Ana is also a former member of the Community Chorus of Redlands. The Inland Master Chorale. and the Performance Loft. Ana finds it a privilege to be able be able to share her love for traditional Latin American music. She hopes to help younger generations preserve the traditions.
