Christopher Robert Evans is a popular American actor. His career began with television roles, including Opposite Sext in the year 2000. Following appearances in several teens' films, including 2001's Not Another Teen Movie he was noticed for his performance of Marvel Comics character the Human Torch in 2005's Fantastic Four and the sequel Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer (2007). Evans made further appearances in film adaptations of comic books and graphic novels such as TMNT (2007) Scott Pilgrim against. the World (2010) as well as Snowpiercer (2013). As well as his part as Steve Rogers/Captain America, Evans gained recognition through the Marvel Cinematic Universe movies Captain America: The First Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2015) as well as Captain America: Civil War. Within the Marvel universe, the role as Steve Rogers / Captain America helped him become the most highly paid actor in the world.
